During his weekly radio show, Coach Tadlock expressed his displeasure with the negativity focused at Kirby Hocutt and other athletic directors over the third paid assistant vote. Keith provides those full comments and his thoughts, breaks down the midweek win over the New Mexico Lobos, and looks ahead to a big series with the Big 12 leading Oklahoma State Cowboys all in Episode 21!
Keith references comments on Twitter by Kendall Rogers of D1Baseball.com that described Coach Tadlock’s feelings about this vote, insinuated that this could be a reason Tadlock leaves Texas Tech, and the ongoing false dilemma of a no vote equalling a lack of support for baseball. It’s been a feisty Easter weekend on Twitter for fans of college baseball, but Keith is back in your feed with Episode 20. He’s recapping a BIG series victory at home over the then Big 12 leading Baylor Bears including an extra innings 6 run comeback that fell just short, a walk-off win, and a walk-off run-rule win as well.

Throwin’ Ched with Raider Red is no longer a question segment, it’s about the soapbox now. Kendall Rogers and Aaron Fitt of D1Baseball.com have been calling out Kirby Hocutt and banging their drum loudly recently. After being ghosted by Kendall more than once for an interview, Keith gives us his thoughts about their “coverage” and why Kirby Hocutt may be voting no.
He also recaps the 13-6 loss to Duke on Tuesday and previews a very important homestand against the Big 12 Conference leader Baylor Bears over Easter weekend.
It’s Episode 18 and Keith is recapping a 1-2 weekend in West Virginia that was capped by a fantastic performance on the mound in a complete game, two-hit, shutout by Caleb Kilian on Sunday with zero free passes and all in less than 100 pitches. Keith also previews the Duke Blue Devils who the Red Raiders play Tuesday in a midweek matchup in North Carolina.

He and Keith talk some hoops before looking ahead to the Big 12 weekend matchup between Kansas and the Red Raiders at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park.
On Episode 14 Keith reflects on Texas Tech Basketball making the first Final Four in school history and the parallels between Coach Beard and Coach Tadlock. It’s lucky Episode 13 and Keith welcomes in Dr. Mike Gustafson to discuss the season so far and look ahead to the upcoming weekend series in Manhattan, KS against the Kansas State Wildcats. Mike is the color analyst for the Texas Tech Baseball radio broadcast and the television broadcast. He was also played baseball at Texas Tech from 1986-1989 and was a four-year letterman.

It’s the Spring Break edition, just one episode this week! In Episode 009 Keith recaps the Red Raiders’ sweep of the Wichita State Shockers and looks ahead to the Big 12 road trip to Austin to face the #12 Texas Longhorns.
As an update to the update, the UNM Lobo game moved from April 24 to Tuesday March 12 has been moved back to April, so there will be no midweek this week.
